First thing Medical Check up
When turning 50, you want to keep exercising and start to exercise if you have not.
I always been exercising and was thinking doing good until I went through a full body exam. The one you spend the day at the clinics and you have numerous test. Including blood, urine and feces sample as well as RMI, cardio encephalogram and other strange test.
I learned my health was at its best. Meaning all my level where in the normal range and I have just to make sure to supplement my diet with saturated oil being a vegetarian at that times.
As I was enjoying a life without pain, no inflammation, and taking no pills at all. I was pretty sure of the result .And still enjoy no pain no pills.
But what the cardio test tough me was, is that I was exercising but not properly. I needed to push my resistance there and there in order to build resistance and have my heart speed up.
So I modified my routine and now I feel I gain in strength, flexibility and resistance.
So first thing if you have not started get in an annual full medical check up because after 50 a lot in your metabolism and body is starting to change. Your testosterone level is going to decrease, most probably you have some excessive body weight around your belly and you might already on some pills.
Once I did my medical check up then I look for model to inspire me before thinking of any exercise.. Is it possible to age and be able to still exercise ? Of course I didn’t want to pretend to exercise as in my 20’s but to be able to move comfortably and take on activities that require some preparation.
And I did find them, thanks to the unlimited source of knowledge provided by the internet. Amazingly you find men and women in the 100 exercising. Of course they are no so many but it shows that getting old doesn’t mean you can’t exercise anymore.
